How did Daniel respond to your proposals? Did the meeting suggest any difference of direction or confirm what you were already planning? Will you have a chance to present him with a range of proposals? I think this open ended approach would be most useful to him. If he doesn't have options it will be harder for him to critically assess the work, but through comparing what he likes and doesn't like between different proposals he will more easily begin to have a conversation about it. Stick some stuff up or e-mail it through as soon as you can. Would be great to see (and i can pretent to myself i'm still back there and not stuck in 5 hour meetings). I was quite a surprise meeting him while queueing at the departure gate at Luton. It did make me think about the project. You all thought you’d signed up for a mere six weeks …you could find it becomes a passion and start giving up your free time to help more! I did see something about snow on the local TV news, but I didn’t really work out where or how serious. Its just been raining in Bucharest. I just learnt from the blog that snow had indeed fallen in Tarlungeni. I hope its not going to interfere with work on site or make it difficult to get to the village. Internet access here is erratic at best. I’ll post this as soon as I can get back online. I’ll be heading to the Gara de Nord in the morning (Tuesday) and will try to find a fast train to Brasov.
