On Monday we held a photo exhibition for the families – we noticed that many of the families didn’t have any pictures of their children so we wanted to share some of the ones we’d taken with them. Photos were strung up from washing lines using clothes pegs; crowds of people turned up to have a look and take home any photos of themselves.
Daniel hopes to create a community space in the area of wasteland we used for the exhibition; hopefully this event and the newly constructed football post here will help start the process of claiming the land.
